Who uses the device, and are resources shared?
Confirm the resource model first, then decide whether it fits tasks that require a stable environment, continuous builds, or full macOS capabilities.
Does DPLYMAC provide virtual machines?
No. DPLYMAC provides Cloud Macs running macOS, with one dedicated physical Mac assigned to each order. CPU, memory, and local SSD resources are not divided among renters. These are real physical nodes, suited to development work that requires fixed hardware, a complete command line, and a graphical interface.
Will one device be shared with other users during the rental term?
The computing resources of an individual device are not shared. Once an order is confirmed, that device is assigned to the order for the selected term. The ordering team manages internal access, project directories, and credentials; concurrent work still shares the machine’s CPU, memory, disk, and network capacity.
What tasks are dedicated physical Macs suited for?
Common uses include iOS and macOS builds, Xcode archiving, automated testing, CI runners, remote development, and high-memory experiments. They suit developers who want a consistent toolchain, less local-device queuing, or continuous work across team time zones.
Does dedicated access mean unlimited parallel workloads?
No. Dedicated means the resources are not divided among other renters, but each device still has fixed chip, memory, and SSD limits. Set concurrency according to project size, peak build memory, simulator count, and cache usage. If workloads consistently hit the limit, reduce concurrency or choose the M4 Pro configuration.
Which Mac Mini configurations are available?
The catalog offers two options. Choose based on peak memory, concurrent task count, working-set size, and local cache requirements.
What are the full specifications of DeployMac M4?
DeployMac M4 is a Mac Mini M4 with an M4 chip, 16GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. It is best for single-project development, short builds, lightweight CI, command-line tasks, and lighter graphical remote work.
What are the full specifications of DeployMac M4 Pro?
DeployMac M4 Pro is a Mac Mini M4 Pro with an M4 Pro chip, 64GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD. It suits larger Xcode workspaces, concurrent builds across multiple branches, heavier caching, high-memory inference, and experiments with larger local working sets.
How do I choose between the two configurations?
Record peak memory, build time, derived data, and dependency-cache usage for a complete task in your current environment. If peak usage is clearly below 16GB and concurrency is modest, start with DeployMac M4. For multiple large projects, more simulators, or high-memory experiments, choose DeployMac M4 Pro.
Can I switch from one configuration to the other after ordering?
The two options correspond to different physical devices, so the chip or memory cannot be switched in place as a software setting. If you need to change configuration, first export code, artifacts, cache plans, and required settings, then confirm the new device order and delivery details in the console.
How much do daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans cost?
All amounts are in USD. The starting price is $19.3/day for DeployMac M4; catalog pricing is shown directly rather than replaced with vague discounted rates.
What are the four rental prices for DeployMac M4?
DeployMac M4 costs $19.3/day, $52.1/week, $96.5/month, or $262.5/quarter. The configuration is fixed at M4, 16GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Choose daily or weekly billing for short-term validation, or compare monthly and quarterly billing for continuous builds.
What are the four rental prices for DeployMac M4 Pro?
DeployMac M4 Pro costs $61.5/day, $166.2/week, $307.7/month, or $836.9/quarter. The configuration is fixed at M4 Pro, 64GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD, suited to high-memory workloads, multiple projects, and larger local datasets.
Should I rent by the day, week, month, or quarter?
Use daily billing to assess a one-off build, environment validation, or short-term issue reproduction. Weekly billing can cover a full development cycle. Monthly billing suits a fixed CI runner or daily remote development. Consider quarterly billing once the configuration, location, and workload are proven stable.
What base resources are included in the catalog price?
The base price covers the selected physical device, a catalog location, and the confirmed rental term. Additional SSD capacity and Thunderbolt 5 pairing are billed as separate add-ons. Final order details, device information, and live availability are shown in the console.
How should I choose a location based on network routes and work time zones?
Available locations include Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, and US East. Do not judge the experience by map distance alone.
Which locations are currently available?
There are currently 5 locations: Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, and US East. Both DeployMac M4 and DeployMac M4 Pro are listed across these 5 locations. Live availability is shown in the console when you order.
Which location should teams in Asia test first?
Teams in Southeast Asia can start with Singapore; teams in Japan and Northeast Asia can test Japan (Tokyo); teams in or near South Korea can test South Korea (Seoul); and teams in southern China, Hong Kong, or nearby cross-border regions can test Hong Kong. Test continuously from the actual office network rather than relying only on straight-line distance.
When should I choose US East?
Test US East first when the team’s main time zone, code repositories, artifact storage, or automation services are in eastern North America. Distributed teams can also place overnight build queues in the relevant time zone, but should validate the network route with a complete build from the real repository.
Which metrics should I measure when choosing a location?
At minimum, record median latency, jitter, packet loss, remote-display responsiveness, repository pull time, and artifact upload time. Keep the local network fixed, test each candidate location, and run one complete build from the same commit rather than deciding from a single ping result.
How are extra SSD capacity and Thunderbolt 5 pairing billed?
Add-ons are priced separately according to the selected term. Estimate peak usage for code, dependencies, derived data, model files, and build artifacts first.
What are the four prices for a +1TB SSD?
+1TB SSD costs $2.8/day, $7.6/week, $14.1/month, or $38.4/quarter. It suits workloads where the base disk is tight but the working set can still be managed through cache cleanup, artifact export, and dependency reuse.
What are the four prices for a +2TB SSD?
+2TB SSD costs $5.6/day, $15.2/week, $28.2/month, or $76.8/quarter. It suits larger multi-project workspaces, local model files, long-lived build caches, or workflows that retain many intermediate artifacts.
How is Thunderbolt 5 pairing priced per device?
Thunderbolt 5 pairing is priced per device at $1.2/day, $3.3/week, $6.1/month, or $16.6/quarter. Its value depends on task partitioning, software support for multiple devices, and synchronization costs; pairing does not automatically double single-task performance.
How do I know whether I need extra SSD capacity?
Measure source code, dependencies, Xcode derived data, archives, logs, containers, and model files separately, then reserve space for parallel branches and retries. If the base disk needs frequent cleanup for normal work, assess an SSD add-on before ordering rather than improvising during a task.
Which payment methods and billing currency are supported?
Payment options are kept simple, and all order amounts are recorded in USD. The backend interface determines which gateways are available at the time of payment.
Which payment methods can I use?
We support USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe). Available gateways are returned by the backend interface. Before submitting payment, recheck the order amount, network type, and details shown on the payment page.
What currency are orders billed in?
All plans, add-ons, and orders are billed in USD. The $ amounts shown on the page are the catalog prices for the selected term; no currency conversion is performed on the page.
What should I check before paying?
Check the model, RAM, SSD, location, rental term, added storage, Thunderbolt 5 pairing quantity, and USD total. For USDT-TRC20, also confirm the network type and payment details. For cards, follow the Stripe checkout flow to confirm the order.
Where can I view my order and device information?
Sign in to the console to view your order, rental term, device configuration, and delivery details. If an existing order needs assistance, submit a ticket in the console with the order identifier. Never send access credentials or sensitive logs through public channels.
What should I verify from first connection through CI execution?
Verify the device and system first, then connect the repository, Xcode, caches, and runner. This keeps environment issues out of application build logs.
How can I connect to a Cloud Mac?
Use the command-line and graphical remote access methods provided with your delivery details. On first connection, verify the location, device configuration, system version, and credentials, then check network stability. Store connection information only in a controlled password manager or automation credential system.
How do I confirm that the Xcode environment is ready to build?
Check the system version, Xcode version, selected command-line tools path, required project SDKs, dependency managers, and build scripts. After importing certificates and provisioning profiles, run a non-release archive validation and confirm that the logs, archive path, and export result match expectations.
Can I connect GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins?
Yes. You can connect GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or a self-built runner as a self-hosted execution environment. Before registration, plan the execution user, working directory, labels, concurrency limit, credential injection, and cleanup policy. Avoid having multiple pipelines share the same writable directory.
How should I plan build caches?
Separate dependency caches, derived data, and archive directories by project and branch. Give caches traceable keys and cleanup conditions. Caches should speed up reproducible tasks, not replace dependency locking; when cache hits behave unexpectedly, you should be able to disable the cache quickly and complete a clean build.
What should I check first if the graphical session lags or disconnects?
Record the incident time, selected location, local network, latency, and jitter first, then compare results at lower resolution or image quality. Next, check CPU, memory, disk, and background build load on the device to distinguish local-network, remote-session, and machine-workload causes.
The operations guide covers first acceptance testing, terminal checks, Xcode, CI integration, performance troubleshooting, and ticket fields.
How do I export and clean up before the rental term ends?
Handle export, verification, credential removal, and support escalation as separate steps. Do not wait until the final session to organize the environment.
What data should I export before the rental term ends?
At minimum, export source-code changes, build artifacts, archives, required logs, test results, configuration inventories, and cache indexes that must be retained. Verify the files in an independent location by opening them and checking matching hashes, and confirm that uncommitted repository changes have been handled.
Which credentials should I remove from the device?
Remove repository tokens, CI keys, SSH private keys, certificate passwords, temporary environment variables, password-manager caches, and sensitive values in scripts. Rotate any credentials that may still be reusable, and check shell history, build logs, and temporary directories for exposed secrets.
What is the final checklist before expiry?
Recommended order: stop new tasks, export data, verify copies, remove credentials, clean project directories, record environment versions, and confirm order status. For team use, assign one owner to confirm that every project has been handed over.
How do I escalate an issue I cannot resolve myself?
Sign in to the console and submit a ticket with the order identifier, device configuration, location, incident time, reproduction steps, expected result, actual result, redacted command output, and actions already attempted. If you cannot sign in to the console, email support@deploymac.comand likewise do not attach passwords, private keys, or certificate passwords.
Once the configuration, location, and term are confirmed, place your order
Both device options are available in Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, and US East. Live availability and final delivery details are shown in the console.
